Collins Fine Foods has a rich and storied history that truly reflects the evolution of a family-run business. From its humble beginnings in the 1890s with William Willard Collins using a horse and wagon to deliver groceries, it has transformed significantly over the years. The establishment of the building on N Washington Street in 1930 marked a pivotal moment as it became a dedicated grocery store.
Under the stewardship of Jim Collins, the fourth generation, the store embraced change by shifting its focus from basic grocery offerings to a delightful deli, specializing in delicious sandwiches. Now, with McKenzie and Sydney Collins stepping in as the fifth generation, the legacy continues, emphasizing quality products and exceptional customer service. This commitment to excellence is a testament to the family's dedication over more than a century in business.
